市知识产权局高度重视“2006广州国际设计周”知识产权保护工作，为创新和设计成果的传播及推广应用创造良好法制和社会环境。主要措施：（一）依托“设计与自主创新高峰论坛”等平台加强知识产权宣传，设立专门展位展示我市知识产权工作成果，现场派发大量知识产权宣传资料。（二）派出执法人员进驻展场进行检查监督，处理各种知识产权侵权投诉。（三）现场开展知识产权相关政策咨询，介绍我国外观设计专利保护特点和状况。

The Intellectual Property Office of Guangzhou Municipality has attached full attention to intellectual property rights (IPR) protection for the "2006 Guangzhou Design Week", in an effort to create a solid legal system and social environment for the publication, promotion and application of innovative and design achievements. Major steps include: firstly, enhance the promotion of IPR through the "design and independent innovation summit", set up special booths to showcase the IPR protection success in Guangzhou, as well as distribute abundant brochures of IPR protection on the spot. Secondly, designate staff stationed at the exhibition venue to implement inspection and supervision, while handling various complaints regarding IPR infringement. Thirdly, arrange spot consultancy for IPR-related policies and introduce the features and situation of China´s IPR protection of exterior design.
